Demand to reduce the cutoff for UPSC 2023 CSAT from 33% to 23%
The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has been demanded by the candidate appearing for the Civil Services Examination of the Union Public Service Commission 2023 to reduce the cut off marks
There is a demand to reduce the qualifying marks cut off for CSAT from 33% to 23%.
Candidates say that the difficulty level of the question was similar to that of IIT exam and CAT exams,
The petition requests that UPSC be directed to lower the cutoff or re-conduct the exam for paper 2 as part of the Civil Services Examination 2023.
The matter is to be heard by the Principal Bench of CAT.
The candidate is saying that the exam paper was too difficult so the cutoff marks should be reduced or the exam should be retaken.
There is a lot of protest regarding this matter, the petition is being emphasized that UPSC has the discretion to decide the question paper
